On the Brownsea Lagoon there were 23 Spoonbill, c400 Avocet and 200+ Cormorant along with good totals of Black-tailed Godwit, Oystercatcher, Dunlin, Redshank, Greenshank, Bar-tailed Godwit and Grey Plover. At Lytchett Fields the Lesser Yellowlegs was still present as was the Curlew Sandpiper and 2 Water Pipit. In Middlebere the wader spectacle remains as fantastic as ever as nearing 1000 Avocet were constantly being put up by several passing Marsh Harrier, a Peregrine and an occasional female Merlin. At South Haven a female/immature type Black Redstart was in Bramble Bush Bay.
